I absolutely love working in Early Childhood Education! I also love exploring more about how children grow and learn, and experience the world around us.

My key interests include…

– Literacy

– Children and families’ rights

– Welcoming and inclusive settings

– Storytelling

– Transitions and migration

– European migration

– Sociocultural education

– Play and outdoor learning

Have a look at the resources for children and families, and for early years settings and schools, as well as my blog posts for more information around these themes.

A bit about my work in Early Childhood Education…

While teaching children in Poland, in 2016 I took the International House Certificate in Teaching Young Learners and Teenagers. A year later I started a Masters in Early Childhood Education through the University of Sheffield. Over the past few years I have become increasingly passionate about combining my work with Central and Eastern European communities with my passion for Early Years education. My research focussed on children and families’ rights and story-sharing practices in Scottish Early Years Education. I currently work in an Early Years setting in Fife part-time
